still alive
hello world! contrary to popular belief, i am not dead yet. haha grew more pimples and wrinkles over this terribly stressful period though. nothing much to say too. my life is reduced to wake up, do work, lose brain cells, go to bed and grow more brain cells and the cycle repeats.. studying is a negative externality cos my siblings are subjected to grumpy me who is perpetually frustrated over some unsolvable math qn. my bad mood is like an every increasing geometric progression. hahaha whatever. maybe i need some stem cell therapy. dots. i feel rather geeky now.
on a happier note, joey is growing bigger but still very cute :) i'm sorry my class girls have to hear about that silly rabbit at least once a day. lol!
doing one of the 4 things he does: stretching out. haha the other 3 things he do are eating grass, eating food and drinking water. what a good life. i think he looks like a lamb here. haha the funny bunny is uber happy when he gets to run around the house n he seems to like yuhan's toes. lol!
ok back to boring mode. study hard people! u have no choice anyway. lol.

star awards speech
today's my birthday! n i would like to dedicate this post to everyone who made turning 18 special for me :)
firstly, my mum and dad for making me some 18 years n 9 months ago. lol! without them, i wouldn't be here.
and of course, all my dear friends who helped me to celebrate even before i turn 18. this is called premature ageing. lol just kidding!
a BIG thank you to my dear harmoc friends - pearly, ming hwei, mingshuan, polly, rachel, eunice, geraldine n betty who bought a cake and sang 'happy birthday' to me in an empty classroom on friday morn! all of us skipped assembly though. haha it was my first time! exciting but scary~

yay i got a music box thingy! n it plays 'somewhere over the rainbow' :)n after studying, i came home n had another celebration but i was too tired to take pictures. haha. much thanks goes out to my family, relatives n close family friends for a scrumptious dinner n yet another birthday cake! haha it was strawberry shortcake which i liked!
thanks to my dad for the lilies, my mum n sis for 2 baking books n my bro for the famous amos cookies n solero ice cream (lol that silly boy gave my sis $50 for her bday) n uncle raymond n his family for the chocolates n crystal angel hp strap n my cute ahma n aunties for the angpows :)

after national day
ytd was singapore's 43rd birthday! i hope everyone had a happy national day and had lots of fun watching the parade and spending time with family~
as usual, i do the thing i do on most happy occassions. lol no prizes for guessing. i baked strawberry & white chocolate cupcakes just cos they are red and white. lol i'm quite happy with how they turned out and the only complain i got from some relatives was that the icing was too sweet. i thought it was quite nice though n tasted quite a lot of it while decorating =X
i think cupcakes are my fav thing to bake :)and making everyone else fat (so i can be relatively thinner) is my fav activity. LOL just kidding!
i gave my heart away. boohoo.today was a rather productive day, i would say. haha went to study with a banana and we managed to finish the bio paper and almost died. lol. after that, we went shopping at ntuc like some aunties for study snacks to keep us happy for future study sessions :)

a peek into what's inside.in order of height: cadbury desserts tiramisu, caramel popcorn, prawn crackers n the best ever chocolate pillows! the caramel popcorn is like only $0.92, chocolate pillows are $0.56 and prawn crackers are only $0.51. not bad right! in small packs to prevent over-eating. lol auntie recommends good study snacks for u.
and my sis got a super adorable bunny for her birthday (which is tmr)!! it's still a baby and it's so very darling :D the way it eats the pellets and chews grass and drinks water and cleans itself is so cute!

sweets for my sweet :)
hello earthlings! here's the half-priced waffles day post :D
so after a crazy day of cramming for bio and chem test, my dear friends and i decided to treat ourselves with some lovely desserts! so we bus-ed down to gelare and had our sugar fix. i think i like sugar. haha which is not so surprising after all.
chocolate obsession ice cream cake, chocolate chip waffle with chocolate ice cream n chocolate sauce, waffle with peaches + strawberries + whipped cream n strawberry cheesecake yoghurt ice cream and apple crumble the strawberry cheesecake yoghurt ice cream was super nice! and i wonder who are the chocolate addicts who picked chocolate everything. lol.
the culprits: 2 big-time chocoholics!
more interesting people :P
i love going for lunch with my friends :) hehe must go again next time!
bye pple! time to star-dee. this week is a terrible test week :( but at least there's national day (aka great excuse to bake) to look forward too! been too busy to bake lately so im quite excited.

it's going to be monday again!
can't believe the weekend is going to be gone in abt 10 mins time :( every monday, i wish it's sunday again.. haha too bad my wish isn't going to come true. maybe it's because of tuition and college day that the weekend seems shorter this time. talking abt tuition, i think it is not bad. lol surprise surprise, i didn't fall asleep! and i also didn't fall asleep for both econs tutorials this week :D goodie me! n after tuition, me and kheng kheng went to eat mos burger n saw a very cute boy with round specs eating a giant french fry! such a cutie pie! and we bought socks too :) (necessity ok!)
saturday was kinda boring though. i was late but lucky nobody caught me. ha! it was all because i had to iron my uniform before gg to sch at the last minute cos i didn't realise it was not ironed yet. haha n when i crossed the road to go to sch, i saw mr teo looking at his watch and then he gave me the knowing smile. lol so retarded. everytime i see him on the way to sch, he will ask me "so, are u always late?" -.- haha anw college day was spent hiding in lt5 having a picnic, reading mag, trying to do complex numbers n watching a movie on a portable player until the battery died-.-
today was a bit more interesting. haha did the same old things again.. same same but different, u know. did some work in a bid to be productive, played piano, went out for dinner and baked muffins :) hehe i bought new shoes! they're nothing special though, rather normal shoes but it's all because the nicer ones didn't come in my size :( so i bought one in kid's size n it's cheaper too! for once, i'm glad that i'm short n abit smaller than everyone =P and i'm quite happy with the muffins this week :)

7 things that made me happy :)
1. i bought a peach purse and yummy snacks on monday with mingshuan and kheng kheng :)
2. there is no more PE ever. hurray! IT was exceptionally nice and said he didn't wanna torture me anymore. i feel like i've been released from some 3rd period prison ha!
3. me and yuhan went shopping at the school bookshop and we both scored cute and shiny notebooks! lol mine has a little girl with a tiara holding a giant lollipop and it says 'One sweet day'. really pretty!
4. today is bring an animal pencilbox day :D
although my dog could only contain 3 pens, 1 ruler and 1 eraser, it was still fun to take pics and laugh at how retarded they look.
look at poor yuhan's kangaroo/rabbit! it looks like a victim of molest thanks to my cheeky dog and edna's naughty lion =P haha!

5. my class girls decided against eating prata at the last min after being in a prata mood for a good half of the day. haha! now i think it is a wise choice if not i won't be here blogging. lol!
6. i made orange panna cotta after school today :)
panna cotta is an Italian dessert made by simmering together cream, milk and sugar, mixing this with gelatin and letting it cool till set. it literally means 'cooked cream'. haha i wiki-ed it.

i used the recipe from Gale Gand's "short+sweet" which i borrowed from the library last saturday. it's supposed to be done in 15 mins but i think i took longer than that including washing up. haha but it was still a breeze to make. perfect for a mid-week treat!
7. last but not least, my parents have finally agreed to let me keep a doggie!!! yayyyyy :D but it'll probably be after i move to the new house after exams. shall try not to be too excited abt it. what if they change their mind! *crosses fingers* will need lots of advice next yr from all u lucky dog owners! and maybe we can bake dog biscuits together!
